The controller is the owner shown above. You can write to that address about anything concerning your data.

Browsing this site leaves no data about you

OlaFerry uses no cookies, no analytics, no tracking pixels and no advertising. There is no sign-up and no user profiling. You can check every timetable without identifying yourself in any way.

That is why this site shows no cookie banner: there is no consent to ask for. If analytics were ever added, consent would be requested before switching them on and this policy would be updated.

Server logs

The hosting provider automatically records technical data for each request — IP address, date, time, browser and page requested — in order to serve the site, detect faults and protect it from attacks. The legal basis is the controller’s legitimate interest in keeping the service secure and available (art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Those logs are kept by the provider for a short period, are not used to identify anyone and are not combined with any other information.

If you get in touch

If you use the contact form or write by email, your name, your email address and the content of your message are processed for the sole purpose of replying to you. The legal basis is your consent, which you give on the form by ticking the box.

What you send through the form is not stored in any database: it is forwarded to the mailbox and stays there, exactly as if you had written to us directly. Messages are kept for as long as the conversation lasts and for the time needed to deal with any liability arising from it; after that they are deleted.

Your address is not passed on to anyone and is not used to send you marketing.

Providers

This site relies on the providers listed below. Some are outside the European Economic Area; in those cases transfers rely on the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses or on adequacy decisions. The timetable database contains no personal data: only boats, ports and times.
