When the night fare applies
From 21:00 to 7:00 Monday to Friday, on Saturdays from 15:00, and all day on Sundays and public holidays. That last one catches people out: a Sunday lunchtime is charged at the night rate.

Four people, different maths
A taxi is charged per ride, not per person. For four, Es Pujols works out at €3.15 each against €2.25 on the bus, and it drops you at the door with your luggage. The taxi association says it themselves: it often beats the bus.
